This 120ml bottle of Akkerman Dutch Masters #03 Gele Oker van Frans fountain pen ink is a vibrant shade of orange, and the packaging is very distinctive. The ink bottle fills by tipping the bottle upside down so that ink flows from the large bottom section, into a small upper section. When you tip the bottle back up, a small marble rests in the neck of the bottle to divide the two sections.

My new favorite yellow September 26, 2017

After seeing Anderson's Instagram demo on this ink, I knew I had to get it. While this shade isn't really workplace appropriate, I love using it in my Bullet Journal or for notes. It is quite legible thanks to the beautiful shading from yellow to orange. I like it best in a broad nib. I find it takes a little longer to dry on TomoeRiver & Rhodia papers, but I don't mind since the color is so beautiful. No real water resistance with this ink. I was always hesitant to try Akkerman due to the bottle, but now that I have, I really love it. I'm eager to try more Akkerman inks!
