Nice lines May 3, 2016
Reviewer: Terry Couch from Sheboygan, WI United States
I put this nib in a Noodler's Neponset.  I have written with Akkerman Simplisties Violet, and Akkerman's orange onTWSBI, Tomoe River, and Rhodia papers.  Both inks glide rather nicely with this Anderson Pen EF nib.  There was no need to condition the nib.

Replacement nibs can change everything April 30, 2016
Reviewer: Jack Kessler from Berkeley, CA
The only part of the pen that touches the paper is the nib.  Which makes the whole business of paying big bucks for brand name fountain pens a chump's game.  eBay has Jinhao and various other pens for peanuts, mainly knockoffs of expensive Western pens.  Even if you think that the nibs on the expensive pens are better than on the cheap pens, the solution is simple and obvious - replace the nib.  You won't find a better thought-of nib than Jowo.  Here it is for $20.  What does the rest of the price for a Montblanc get you?

Another reason for getting "replacement" nibs is that many Chinese pens come only with medium nibs.  If you want something else, buy it here.  Another online pen company sells the excellent German Nemosine nibs for even less than these.  Considerably less.

Putting a good quality German nib on a cheap well-made Chinese pen, enables us to get down to the real business at hand - accumulating a million colors of ink.  And lovely leather-bound journals....

EF Western Nib Works Great October 29, 2015
Reviewer: Bradley Hodge from Huntsville, TX United States
The Anderson JoWo Extra Fine nib creates a Western EF line - between a Extra Fine to Fine line - depending on type of paper and ink. The design on the surface of the nib is cut deep to provide a beautiful relief.  A perfect nib for the Delta LE Green fountain pen.

Super smooth and consistent June 3, 2015
Reviewer: J from Virginia
I ordered a number of the different Anderson #6 nibs and tested them all (so this review is being copied for each).  All fit right in on my various pens that use the #6 nibs (Conklin, Monteverde, and others.  All went right to work, smooth on the paper, producing lines that were as expected for the different styles and widths.  One request / suggestion I have is that Anderson could offer its nibs in italic styles finer than 1.1 (e.g. in the 0.5-0.8 range).  The italic effect is nice to have in smaller writing where a 1.1 or 1.5 is just to broad.
