Great Nib for Jinhao X450 May 24, 2016
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Shawnee Mission, KS United States
When I got into fountain pens earlier this year, I heard about Jinhao. Had to try one. A month after ordering, the $3 Jinhao X450 arrived in my mailbox. I looked the look of the pen, the heft, the build quality seemed better than the price would lead one to believe...But that nib. Sloppy wet and a mile wide (at least in my hands). I ordered an Anderson nib, slipped it right in, and now I've got an $18 pen I can love. No complaints here.

Super smooth and consistent June 3, 2015
Reviewer: J from Virginia
I ordered a number of the different Anderson #6 nibs and tested them all (so this review is being copied for each).  All fit right in on my various pens that use the #6 nibs (Conklin, Monteverde, and others.  All went right to work, smooth on the paper, producing lines that were as expected for the different styles and widths.  One request / suggestion I have is that Anderson could offer its nibs in italic styles finer than 1.1 (e.g. in the 0.5-0.8 range).  The italic effect is nice to have in smaller writing where a 1.1 or 1.5 is just to broad.

Fabulous nib April 24, 2015

I put this nib on a Monteverde Prima, and it transformed it into a "real" pen.  The pen, formerly almost never used, has become a regular in my rotation.
