RETURNS

Want to return something? Please email us at returns@andersonpens.com within 7 days of receipt to initiate a return. As a courtesy, please contact us before posting on social media sites such as Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. Although social media is very popular, a direct email is the most reliable form of appropriate business communication. While we do try to monitor those outlets as we can, threads and comments move quickly or may drop off the main page of a forum, and we may not see it immediately.

We will take back pens and nibs that are unused (not dipped or filled), in the condition that they were received, and that include all original packaging for a full refund of the original purchase price. We do not reimburse original shipping charges or customs fees. If a cartridge or converter is included with the pen, the return also must include the unused cartridge or converter, in order to qualify for a full refund. If you are returning a product because it was defective or we shipped you an item that you did not order, we will reimburse you for standard USPS Priority Mail return shipping costs. Please email us before shipping the pen back. We will not reimburse customs fees, or excessive fees, such as Overnight shipping costs.

Pens that have been dipped can be returned for a refund of the purchase price less 20% as a cleaning and restocking fee, issued as store credit. Some pens will not be eligible for return, such as Platinum Preppy pens, similar lower-priced items, or items such as Noodler's pens that are designed to be adjusted by the user. These pens must be in the condition that they were received, and that include all original packaging , and if a cartridge or converter is included with the pen, the return also must include the unused cartridge or converter.

Pens that have been filled will not be eligible for a return. Outlet items, which include Sale and Blowout items, are not eligible for return, nor are nibs, bottled ink, cartridges or refills, paper products, repair supplies or ink samples. It may be advantageous for you to post your "lightly used" pen or bottle of ink on one of the many online pen sales forums, such as FPN or PenTrace. Vintage pens will be accepted for refund only if the item was damaged in shipping, defective, or grossly misrepresented.

Anderson Pens reserves the right to decline refund requests if the product has been improperly used, damaged or is otherwise questionable.

SHIPPING

We ship all of our packages through the United States Postal Service (USPS). We use First Class Mail and Priority Mail. All shipping rates are automatically calculated upon checkout. Depending on your location, most packages should arrive to you in 2-5 business days from date of shipment. We strive to process all orders within 24 hours of order being placed and we ship six days a week!

All of our Packages are shipped with tracking information. Once the shipping label is printed, an email is automatically sent to you by stamps.com. Your account is also automatically updated with the tracking number and date it was shipped.

We often get asked whether we ship outside the US. The answer is Yes! Shipping rates are automatically calculated upon checkout based on address. Please Note: International First Class Shipping takes longer than other international shipping options. Generally a First Class package will arrive in 1-2 weeks, but it can take up to even 4-6 weeks to arrive, depending on how long it takes to travel to your country, and also how long it is held in customs. The tracking availability for 1st class shipping is limited. We ask that you be patient, and check with your customs office, or check the United States Postal Service website for updates.

For many countries, there is little to no tracking. That is the trade-off for the lower price. If you wish to receive your order more quickly, please contact us to upgrade shipping to Priority or Express. After several weeks (4-5 weeks from date of shipping) if you feel that your package has been lost, please contact us. We cannot process a shipping insurance claim until after 60 days has passed, to allow for transit time and customs processing.
