Beautiful pen - with a nod to nibmeister Brian September 29, 2017
Reviewer: Karl from HIgh Point, NC
I get a lot of positive comments about this pen, with the distinctive color scheme and retro design. It writes great! It puts down a good, wet line. I feel the nibmeister, Brian Anderson, should get a share of the five stars, though. I had to mail it back for adjustment because it was not writing wet enough, and I could not tweak it right. A normally dark ink was showing up gray or washed out. It is fine now because of him. I hope Conklin recognizes the work its retailers have to do to adjust things from the factory floor for us. Nice, big nib that writes smoothly. I am using a cartridge at present. I will try the converter later. Excellent, prompt service from the Andersons!

Beautiful Pen August 31, 2017
Reviewer: Wilfred von Dauster from Los Osos, CA United States
This pen draws people's attention every time I use it. It is beautifully finished, comfortable to hold for extended use, and its flow characteristics are good. I've dinged it one star for the nib, it is well behaved and smooth enough, but runs much closer to a European fine than a medium. Posting is a little awkward as well. If you like a finer medium line than a Lamy medium, this is the pen for you. Otherwise, #6 nibs are plentiful, or choose the stub.
