Normally I write with vintage fountain pens. January 19, 2016
Reviewer: Keith from Winnetka, IL United States
I broke down and purchased this pen with a gold nib. . It is reminiscent of my Parker Challenger. The Beaumont honesty looks like what a vintage pen would look like, if new. The nib is a little bit firmer than what I would expect from a vintage fountain pen,  but it is much smoother. The pen is well made and clearly made with care to detail.  The Beaumont Bedrock is going to be a regular in my rotation.

Beautiful Pen March 1, 2015
Reviewer: sdbronsak@gmail.com from Leesburg, FL United States
I get excited with each pen purchase I make but I have to say this one really tops most of my other purchases.  I love the feel of the pen...the size, weight and balance; love the colors and flakes; but the biggest wow factor was the EF nib.  Right out of the box, inked up, it was smooth on various paper surfaces I've tried so far.  I'm quite impressed with this pen and nib that came with it!

Superb Engineering
Reviewer: Martin Leverton from Kettering, Northamptonshire
I own two Edison Beaumont's. This model is the only Edison that is not suitable for converting to an eyedropper, because the barrel has an end cap. Edison engineering is quite superb, and you might well have trouble finding the blind cap at all. The clip, with a ball-end, is not my favourite design, as it can make it a little more difficult to just push in to a pocket or pen case, though this is a minor issue, and the clip suits the design. It writes well, is set-up well, and mine have had no flow issues.  The pen is small, and my hands are also quite small. Even so, initially thought that its size might cause difficulties even for me. It doesn't. For myself, I can use it posted, or unposted. Someone with a larger hand would want to write posted, and the pen posts deeply and comfortably if writing for any length of time. The aspect of the design that I think makes this a good small pen regardless of hand size is the design of the section, which is more concave than usual, and seems to provide a safe grip that also feels comfortable.
