I should say this is a horrible nib unit, but only because I want to keep people from buying them so I can get them all. The size, according to Esterbrook's description is a broad stub, but it's more like the "broad" italic on my Pilot 78G, which means, to me, more of a medium-broad than a true western broad. In other words, perfect. It's fairly stiff, but as a lefty who pushes more than pulls, that's what I need. It's very smooth, and needed no adjustment or smoothing from me at all.

Beautiful smooth writing nib...appears to be NOS. Very satisfied with this purchase.
Grateful to the Andersons for making my favorite nibs available at reasonable prices.

I'm always impressed by the Anderson's available stock of nibs, especially the easier to find (but not easy) 2000 series.

Every nib I've purchased (approximately 9) has been in excellent condition.
