My second Loom May 13, 2016
Reviewer: Sholom from Bedford, MA United States
I have plenty of vintage and some more recent fountain pens so I really didn't need another one. I picked up a Loom to use in my lab notebook (I'm a chemist and use selected Noodler's inks that I have tested in lab). I needed a pen that looked like it would survive occasional cleaning with isopropyl alcohol and didn't cost so much that I would be afraid to use it in lab. The Loom turns out to be a wonderfully made and designed pen, and so far is surviving my laboratory abuse. I was so impressed that I decided I had to have another. The loud colors aren't my style so Piano Black was an obvious candidate (I have a piano too, but it is not black so no competition). Just as happy with the second one as with the first. The Loom may be the best value in fountain pens since the day that the Waterman Phileas  could be had for $35.
