Franklin-Christoph Model 03 Anderson Pens Special Edition

The Model 03 Iterium, exhibits a classic flat top design. This particular blue marble pen is exclusive to Anderson Pens and features the letters AP tastefully and discretely engraved at the back of the cap. Offered in your choice of XF, F, M, B, 1.1, or 1.5 #6 sized steel nibs with the Franklin-Christoph logo in a grey frosted center. The 1.1 and 1.5 are like Italic but smooth like stubs with no tipping. Capped, this pen is 5-1/2 inches long, posted 6-3/4 inches long and barrel length uncapped is 5 inches long.

Iterum is Latin for "again" or "once more" as the Model 03 is designed in the spirit of the original Franklin-Christoph Model 01 IPO. Straight sides with very subtle tapers down toward the ends. Mostly flat top and bottom with just a hint of the normal Franklin-Christoph bevel on each end.

This pen fills via included international converter or cartridge. The threads are at the end of the section so regardless of where you hold the pen they will not get in the way of your writing comfort. The pocket clip is long and smooth and will easily slip into your pocket without damaging the fabric and holds tight. The FC logo is tastefully engraved at the top of the Creme finial.

Love the simple shape and the stunning color and depth of color. The pen fits so lovely in my hand and the nib is just perfect (M) for me.  This is going to be one of my daily writers.

A new favorite... November 5, 2014
Reviewer: John J. Nosal from Dallas, Texas Area
Been eyeballing the Franklin-Christoph pens for the past year and when I saw the AP Special Edition there was no further need to look at another model.
Prior to this pen I was a daily user of Lamy and thought they were smooth to write with. The Model 03 was like no other pen I have written with, right out of the box it was smooth and felt great in hand.
It is easy to fill and cleaning is a snap with the ease at which it can be disassembled.
