Good pen but still needs adjusting May 7, 2017
Reviewer: Roberto Rother from Lithia Springs, GA United States
I bought this pen with the expectation that it would need some fine tuning.  However when I got the pen it wouldn't write after the first cleaning and inking.  I really had to adjust the nib and the feed.  After some trial and error though it now writes pretty good.  I own two other Ahab's and they weren't as much trouble to fine tune them.  It just shows that no two Ahab's are alike, even if the nibs and feeds appear identical.  Nonetheless, I like the Cherokee Pearl.  Were it not for the number of adjustments I had to make, I would rate it 5 of 5.  As it stands 4 of 5 will do.

Works great! May 3, 2015
Reviewer: Maggie Covos from Riverside County, CA United States
The color is gorgeous and subtle in a way. My choice was between the Cherokee Pearl and the Pumpkin Poltergeist. I opted for this one for the muted tones.

My main reasons for buying the Ahab was the flex. All the reviews said it doesn't flex as much as a vintage pen but as a bebeginner in FP's and flex I thought I could practice on it.  It barely flexes, just enough to be noticeable. I wouldn't use the flexing for writing, but the lines work great in drawing.
