I bought a few of these and imedeately made my self some stub nibs, extra fine nibs and so forth. These are good for that. Easy to handle but not too flimsy

Terrific for those who like to tinker. January 26, 2015
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Morris, MN United States
Within the ranks of fountain pen hobbyists there are those who like to collect, those who quest for the perfect writing experience, and those who like to tinker. These super affordable nibs are definitely for those who like to tinker. I've spent hours cutting and grinding these nibs to create all sorts of stubs, obliques, and calligraphy nibs.

Also these nibs fit into all sorts of cheap pens (I've stuck them into Ahabs, Konrads, Jinhao x450s, Nemosine Singularities) with no problem. That being the case, you also have a source of cheap and easy to modify nibs that you can use in a wide range of pens.

Get extra nibs to play with for Noodler's Ahabs - they are very cheap at $1-2 each.
