Noodler's Konrad Flex Fountain Pen - Fleur De Lis October 16, 2015
Reviewer: Eddie M from Bolingbrook, IL United States
I received the pen kinda scratched up and a small dent at the top. This may just be from the factory and the plastic sleeve it came in. This pen does have a smell since it is vegetal but it is easily taken care of with an air sanitizer. As for the pattern on the pen I was hoping for something as cool as the advertised picture that was shown. I understand that there is variation in the pattern but about 30% of the pen barrel was plain. I wouldn't call this a flex pen since the feed seems to be somewhat large and doesn't give the nib enough length to be really flexible.   Tiny flex maybe? UPDATE : I was apparently not given a flex nib. There was apparently an issue with some of the pens that were supplied. I will update the review once I get the new nib.

Noodler's Konrad January 4, 2014
Reviewer: Jeff from Minneapolis, MN
Noodler's pens are great, they come with a flex nib and are meant to be easily disassembled.  The Konrad is a piston filler which is very uncommon for a pen in its price range.  The only problem with this pen is that the nib and feed are free to slide around a little.  This can be beneficial for adjusting the flow of ink, but after writing awhile or keeping it in a pocket, it can slide out of alignment. It doesn't significantly hurt the flow, but it is noticeable.
