Paperblanks Midi Journal - Lindau Gospels, Lined

The covers of the Lindau Gospels were designed to inspire awe in early Christian onlookers. The book was carried in processions and displayed on altars. Its component parts originate from different times and places; the back cover is recorded as being created near Salzburg between 750 and 800 AD. Originally tooled in gilt, silver and enamel and elaborately decorated with jewels, it is a powerful manifestation of art as a vehicle for belief. Depicted on our journals is the back cover design of this bookmaking masterwork.

The Paperblanks Lindau Gospels Journal in the Midi size is 5 x 7 inches and Smyth Sewn for durability. It has 144 pages, includes a memento pouch and a ribbon marker, and features a wrap closure.

Excellent Service March 28, 2017

I ordered 4 paperblanks midi journals.  Each journal book was very meticulously packaged and the staff personally wrote a best wish for me.  I could clearly see the care and thought given by Anderson Pens in handling my order.  The journals were without a flaw; so much so it made me hesitant to even start using them but rather keep it new instead.  I really appreciated such care and thought very much.

Was very surprised  at the high quality of both the journal and paper. Pictures alone can not describe how lovely the journal is.
