Wonderful Performance, Bargain Price March 14, 2015
Reviewer: Bob from Port Washington, NY United States
I don't think you could go wrong buying this pen. Great price and very good performance.

I haven't bought a fountain pen in many years mainly because my job hasn't been conducive to using one. I was looking for something economical (won't cry if lost) and inconspicuous. This meets both requirements. The fact that it writes very nicely out of the box is an added bonus to me. It doesn't skip, isn't scratchy and the ink flows well. Only nit to pick is the sac converter; I didn't realize these are still being used in pens. I'd be happier with a traditional converter.

Service and delivery with Anderson exceeds expectations. I can't see any reason to use another merchant.

Probably the best $15 pen ever made January 30, 2014
Reviewer: Tim Ettenheim from New York, NY
I got the Metropolitan because a) I need a pen to drop in my bag for when everything else doesn't work and b) the whole world is praising these things to the sky as the best $15 pen ever made. It's probably the best $15 pen ever made. Balanced, right weight, unbelievably smooth medium nib, ink flowed immediately. thanks! Tim

Well Balanced and a Good Option. January 30, 2014
Reviewer: Eduardo Augusto from Guarulhos, Sao Paulo
The Metropolitan is a well balanced pen and a very good option in this price range. The weight is ok, not too heavy or too light. The metal barrel makes it feel well constructed. The nib is smooth, and it's a pity that only this medium-fine is offered, because I'm a huge fan of broader lines. The packaging makes it a kind gift for whose wish to get into the fountain pen world. I do like the pen. I'm very satisfied with it.
