The Konrad Ebonite flex fountain pen was introduced in 2012. It is shorter and thinner than the Ahab, but is larger than the Standard Flex Nib Creaper. The Konrad Ebonite fountain pen is slightly longer than the regular Konrad fountain pen. It features a flexible #6 steel nib and ebonite feed which is set by hand. This fills via an internal twist piston mechanism, which is hidden under a blind cap. This Konrad line is made of rippled pattern ebonite, which looks very much like the vintage 1920's Waterman ripple fountain pens. We strongly recommend you to give the pen a good flush with water or J.B Pen Flush before use, to clean out any residual machining oils used to cut the feeds for these pens, which will resolve most initial ink flow issues.
