It's Brown October 20, 2017
Reviewer: ADS1 from NC
Title pretty much says it. It is also bulletproof. However, I prefer Noodler's Walnut, which is darker. Diamine Macassar is also darker, on average, depending on nib width, wetness of flow and paper quality.

Obviously, the Brown 41 can be darkened up and I may do that,

Great Ink October 28, 2015
Reviewer: Derek W. Beck from Los Angeles, CA United States
I bought it to sign my new book (Igniting the American Revolution: details at www.derekbeck.com). I wanted smudge-proof, water-proof, archival quality, and I wanted a dark sepia to mimic the ink as it appears on many of the old letters I researched (which were originally in black but faded to brown now). It's a nice touch for the books I'm signing, and period appropriate. Fast shipper too, Anderson Pens is.
