Sailor Pro Gear Slim Fountain Pen - Framboise with Rhodium Trim

The Sailor Professional Gear Slim fountain pen is known as the Sapporo in some markets, and is one of the company's most popular and most affordable models. The Sailor Pro Gear Slim fountain pen shown here features a framboise or raspberry color resin body and cap, with rhodium-plated trim, and and an incredibly smooth and responsive 14k nib. The Sailor anchor logo adorns the top of the cap, and the rhodium-plated trim gives style and class to this wonderful pen.

The Sailor Pro Gear Slim fountain pen offers a contemporary style and incredibly smooth-writing experience, making this a favorite pen for every day writing. The smaller Pro Gear Slim posts securely, and feels almost full-size when posted. In any combination of color, trim and nib size, the Sailor Pro Gear Slim is a superb writing pen. The pen fills with a proprietary converter or cartridge, both of which are included in the standard Sailor gift box. Sailor has a company history stretching back to 1911, and a reputation for quality and value that few other pen manufacturers can ever hope to match.

I'm in love with this pen August 7, 2017
Reviewer: Corinne L from MD United States
Before purchasing my first Sailor I read reviews, watched Brian's video about Sailor nibs, tried out a few Sailors back in March at the Baltimore pen show...and when I was ready to purchase, David answered my questions via email regarding swapping out the nib and arranging for show pickup. It's so light and comfortable to write with, and Iroshizuku Yama-budo ink is the perfect match. Thanks, Anderson Pens!
